In addition to beginning this semester, I had a job interview on Tuesday for an administrative position at a summer camp. I think I did fine and would be a good match. The hours are reasonable and the job doesn’t require on-site living, which is something I cannot do because of my pets.

I expect getting a summer job will be difficult, since getting any sort of job nowadays is difficult. I’m not sure if my university will have anything available for grad students this summer (nothing has been posted). However, summer jobs are slowly starting to trickle in. There haven’t been any jobs that I’m either qualified for or do not require on-site living, but it’s still early. I started fairly late (April) last year, if I recall correctly, so hopefully this year’s search will be much more fruitful.

Has anyone else began summer job searching?
