I forget to announce I signed up for an “open mic” (5-minute) spot at the Red Fez. My lovely and amazingly talented classmates, Badriya, Nepenthe, and Jemileh Nour are also performing. There’s also live music, which is a huge change from everything I typically do. Live music is part of what makes the Boston Middle Eastern dance scene special, and if you haven’t already, you should check it out.
